Bottom line/Short story: Nice unit but ridiculously complicated and subpar customer support before and during purchase/delivery/installation process. 3.5 months of BS between first contact and final incomplete installation. Left 5 messages with 4 different people, both email and phone. Never received returned message. Horrendous customer service!
Terrible company and customer service. I paid 3,000 for my shed in full in October 2020. I paid 250 for the company to get the permit for me also. I contacted my state in January, Tuff shed didn’t even start a permit. I had to contact Tuff shed manager Austin and let him know that after 3 months no one started a permit for my shed. Austin refunded me the 250 for the permit. Now it’s April and still no permit because tuff shed employee are incompetent. Didn't get any further than a phone call from Tuff Shed after I requested contact for a quote. I was driving when the return call came through and I let it go to voicemail. Fortunately, the message left was transcript and audio and I did take a screen shot of the message. It started out "no s*** yes this is (name or screen shot will be provided upon request don't think I'm suppose to include that under review submission terms) calling you about your need for a quote for a shed....." Buyer beware!!!! The sales representative was 5 star and the purchase process was simple enough. However, the sales representative is handicapped by a General Manager (in Mobile) who is mused by customers who think he must adhere to contract requirements. I had purchased a 12×16 tuff shed and it was installed last week. Well I noticed afterwards the door didn't catch good enough to secure my belongings. The door would easily come open if u pulled it rather it was locked or not. Just a simple adjustment is all it needed. I immediately contacted my salesperson and he said he will get Victoria an email to send someone to make the adjustments. I purchased a Tuff Shed (mdl. KS) in 11/16. In less than 4 years the floor joists separated from the rim joists causing the floor to partially collapse. Tuff Shed sent a rep. to inspect the shed. He said was the economy model and the warranty was only valid for 12 mos. He did offer to repair it as independent contractor. I repaired it at a cost of 250.00. I submitted the invoice for repair and photos of the joist separations to Tuff Shed in Phoenix. I asked for reimbursement for repair. They never responded to my request des... read more
Before I paid for the shed they called 3 times a day after I paid nothing for 4 months. The finally they get it put up. It leaks, shingles falling off and it’s only 2 months old. Called them to check the warranty and left many messages also emailed them nothing yet. Terrible business to deal with. Get you shed some where else. Not worth the hassle. The do short cuts on the shingles work. Very disappointed in this place
I designed a Tuff Shed on-line and purchased the beginning of October ‘20. For some absurd reason, Tuff Shed PHX could not send me final documents that correctly reflected my design, so I then needed to cancel my initial order and create a new order. With the new order somehow now allowing Tuff Shed PHX to correctly utilize their own software, the install was scheduled for the first of December.
