Another 1 star review for an absolutely incompetent company. Waited two months for a shed so could be scheduled on a day off work. Called to reschedule for a week delay...ON A WORK DAY! Then they no showed after I took time off work (at a financial loss to me). Showed up the following day after I called Home Depot to demand a refund. Contract installers where skilled and the shed is well designed, except the materials sent were incomplete and the shed remained unfinished. I ordered a 8,600 shed they canceled 3 times and had me waste 3 days of vacation because someone had to be home . The evening before they confirmed with email that they would be out. they never called except on the last one the called the next day at noon and said they couldn't make it. I called in and got Sales (They answer the Phone) i told them to just refund my money and cancel the order. I was called back in about an hour and they said tomorrow the crew would be there. When I bought my Tuff Shed I was happy. It has been 13 years. Now I cannot get a return phone call or email from Tuff Shed on a warranty issue. The warranty is on the LP siding for 50 yrs. My siding is already failing. I expected Tuff Shed to arrange for a representative to come and inspect the shed. I made my call to the nearest Tuff Shed location and was told by the receptionist that a manager of something would call me back. It has been a month and no phone call. I ordered a $3500 shed through Home Depot on June 13. My installation was just scheduled for November 7. That is nearly 5 MONTHS FOR THE SHED. It was an absolute nightmare. And it had nothing to do with COVID - I won't hear it. Over and over and over - for months - I followed up on the status of my shed. I filled out the initial paperwork twice, found people on LinkedIn to start emailing, and nobody gave me updates, responses were vague and didn't take ownership or responsibility. We ordered our almost $7000 shed from Tuff Shed through Home Depot. The original installers came on September 11th and after borrowing tools from my husband, almost falling off a ladder that my husband had to catch, and letting one of the side walls fall onto our fence they told us they were given the wrong shingles and would have to return the following monday to do the roof and would install the lofts then because they were tired. Ordered shed mid July 2020. Scheduled install dates three different times after being pushed off. Was finally installed October 2020 with horrible workmanship. Every window pours in water, trim work is incomplete with several gaps, shingles are hanging over dip edge several inches and not cut. Installers kocked over back of shed onto my wooden fence. One of the worst buying experiences in my life and I’m 66yrs old. Wrong roof trusses sent wrong floor rails no paint wrong ramp rail. All for a simple 10x12 shed.Customer service is atrocious, non existent no matter how well you communicate they still can’t get the parts correct for their installers. So far three crews no shed. I am having an absolutely horrible experience with this company in St. Louis, MO. I went direct to a Tuff Shed retail sales rep, and paid $5,000 (paid in full up front... a HUGE mistake) on 7/30/2020. I have since received 4 different install dates from them. So far they have failed to deliver on any of them an always have some excuse why they can't deliver what I paid for. To date, they still refuse to deliver the shed that I paid for. My shed was ordered on Aug 5, 2020. Installation was scheduled for Oct 1st. It got changed to Oct 2 between 2 and 4. It is now 630. No call, no show, and no answer of the phone. I started calling at 345. No return call. It is now Oct 3rd. Still no contact. No answer.
