I wish I'd checked into this business better before deciding to go with Tuff Shed. The subcontractors that installed my shed did not install the radiant heat barrier on the interior, which they should have. When I asked the office about it, they first told me the barrier is a $1000 upgrade, which I immediately knew to be totally ludicrous. To start off, just to be clear, I used the Tuff Shed located in the Richmond/Mechanicsville area but those locations did not pop up. Regarding Tuff Shed's service--I don't even know where to begin other than by saying I am BEYOND disappointed and at this point, angry, with the way this company handles things. Back in late August I paid close to $2400f or a simple 6x8 shed to be installed in my back yard. A Tuff Shed was installed on my property in October 2019. When assembly was completed, the installers applied a 2nd coat of paint. My shed was supposed to be two colors, white trim and a light gray base color. The men applied white paint wherever they saw a scratch or defect, regardless of what color they were painting over. I ordered a Tuff Shed garage and they could not execute the garage. After 6 months of work on the project, we had to end the relationship. We had drawings, permits, the pad poured, a scheduled install date, but they had not done their due diligence on site work. They could not figure out how to build our garage with the electrical lines in the alley, which caused too many problems for them. I ordered a shed in the middle of September. The website says that delivery and install will take 1-6 weeks. The scheduler called and could only give me a date for installation 11 weeks out of Nov 6. I accepted. Then, on Nov 3, I received a call saying that my shed was on a truck that broke down and they couldn't reschedule me for another week. Well, then, I get a call to reschedule because of weather (it snowed). This happened 4 times.....rescheduled. I am done. I have taken time off of work to not have a shed installed. Th... read more
