Booked through Cottages.com. Got a booking reference number. After a few weeks, noticed no money had come out of our account. Turned out there was an issue with their booking system, and in the interim someone else had booked the cottage. Gutted. Had to explain to our kid that our holiday was cancelled and we'll have to find somewhere else. Cottages.com were no help. An amazing place in an amazing location. Middle of nowhere but 2 great pub/restaurants in walking distance, a proper switch off. They are doing a lot of work to update the WiFi and cottages etc and the rest of the amenities are fantastic. Yes it is expensive and be wary that extra charges may be applied to use the swimming pools.
