5.5g ring plus 1.5g pendant plus 3-4g of scrap gold supplied by Truro Goldsmiths should equal a ring weighing at least 9-10g. Basic yes? (Thats allowing for the 0.5g to 1g ish lost in the process!) So why does the new ring weigh only 7g ring unless the 3-4g scrap gold that cost £100 wasn't actually used? I have not challenged this face to face as there's literally no point as the odds of the ring being remade is non existent! But thought all should be aware!

Amazing! All other jewellers refused to up the size of my fiancées engagement ring. The jeweller here sized her ring finger properly, sized the ring correctly, and re-coated it (white gold) and it's stunning. I would highly recommend. Thank you so much.

Can't fault this place for service and prices. Watch battery failed whilst on holiday, Timpsons wanted £50, H Samuels said that they weren't allowed to change it and two other jewellery shops said they could only do it if the sent it away. Truro Goldsmiths not only changed it while I waited, I even got change from £8!
