We have been patients 15+ years. Family of four. This most recent visit was atrocious compared to the past. Attitudes among the staff members are very poor, to put it kindly. Then we were told our items were in only to make another 45 minute each way trip to find out they weren't. Plus, although this may be unrelated, since the visit, my left eye has been very painful and is now swollen and red. Been to many eye doctors I had issue on my left eye only one that know what's wrong with it Thanks so much Truitt & Truitt.
Optometrist very nice, horrible customer service. During annual eye exam, we liked the optometrist but we were shocked by all the charges at the end we were not asked about. Eye exam is supposed to be covered by insurance. Then when we were not satisfied with glasses the staff got very unprofessional about how situation was handled. Shame they have good doctors, but horrible staff. Just get your exam done but be careful of extras added. Then take your prescription and go somewhere else to buy glasses.
I love this optometrist and will not be changing any time soon. Not only do they work with you on payment, they also make you feel like a person and not a patient number. I have been here when I was on medicaid, and on regular insurance and both times I was warmly welcomed and was made to feel as I mattered to them, which isn't something you usually feel when you are on government assistance.
Great people I had gotten a piece of metal in my eye and I wasn't even a patient and called dr. Truitt at 1 a.m. and he came right in and helped me I don't know if there's any other eye doctor that would have done that thank you again -Justin Williams
