Was ein schöner Urlaub! Wir waren für 5 Tage auf Islay und hatten das große Glück in The Trout Fly untergebracht worden zu sein Da uns das B+B empfohlen wurde waren die Erwartungen hoch, Gastgeber Neil übertraf diese jedoch. Seine offene und hilfsbereite Art sucht seines gleichen. Das Frühstück war immer üppig und sehr schmackhaft. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist wirklich top. Excellent. Neil and his family were perfect hosts. It is a place that feels like home, comfortable. Neil was very helpful with problems with ferry sailings and made the situation so much better. I could not thank him highly enough.
What a fantastic guesthouse experience! Niall and family were so accommodating, the room was clean and serviced well, and breakfast was so delicious. The hospitality was evident in every aspect of the guest experience, and it made for a great stay. Thank you!
We were four Canadians visiting Islay for distillery tours, and our stay at the Trout Fly exceeded all expectations. Niall was welcoming, friendly, and full of helpful local knowledge. He went above and beyond—with his courtesy and understanding when we missed our ferry on arrival, reassuring us we would be taken care of with pending weather delays on departure, or simply making our stay easy and enjoyable.
