Great for Big Dogs Too! – I just adopted a dog and a volunteer at the rescue had given me a list of NYC places to get essentials for my new pet. I decided to go to Trixie & Peanut because it looked like they had a good selection on their website and the store is located just a few blocks from my office. What a great place! Greatest selection of dog collars and leashes – I was looking for a unique collar for my Border collie, Cody, a Certified Therapy Dog. He has a very cool black/white split face and a heavily ticked black, gray, caramel, and white coat. I found ONE COOL collar at Trixie and Peanut, a gray /white/black camouflage on a lime green nylon backing with a clear plastic buckle - just perfect! Delivery was quick! Doggie Heaven – I have made a few online purchases from Trixie and Peanut and finally had a chance to go into the city and visit their store with my dogs. WOW! I was so impressed. I love their website but it was so great to be able to see the goods for real. And my dogs had a great time trying on clothing and carriers and playing with Peanut and a little puppy that belonged to one of the salespeople there. Super Pet Store! – I finally got a puppy and the first thing I did was start shopping for her! I am kind of embarassed to say that I am one of those people who was already shopping for my dog before I even got her (I must've been the happiest person in Stuyvesant Town when they sent out that email saying they were allowing pets!) so I was familiar with all of the dog stores in NYC. Beautiful merchandise, Hateful staff – I have spent hundreds of dollars at Trixie and Peanut over too many visits to count, despite the fact that every time I've been in there I've walked out angry over the way the staff has treated me. When you shop at Trixie and Peanut, you can expect to be treated anywhere on the spectrum from extremely rude to totally apathetic. Exceptional Gifts for Pet-Lovers – I admit that I am not a dog (or even cat) person but I had to go to this store to pick up a gift for my friend's dog - who actually had a registry at Trixie and Peanut for her first birthday. Great Sample Sale! – I really don't shop that much for my dog but I received an email for Trixie & Peanut's sample sale so decided to check it out. WOW! I got some really great deals. I was totally impressed with the selection of stuff on sale. I got a pet carrier for $30 and a leather harness with crystals for my dog, found a great sweater (at half price!) for my parent's Labrador and even bought gifts for many of my friend's who have dogs. Great Place, Horrible Service – I recently acquired a new puppy and I decided to go to Trixie and Peanut on Wednesday, 02/27/08. I have never been there before, but as soon as I walked in, I fell in love...with the store that is!! The store is bigger than I imagined and the merchandise is wonderful! They're all so cute it's hard to pass anything up! The biggest disappointment was the customer service. Addicted to T & P! – I LOVE MY DOG! Anyone who loves their dog knows about Trixie & Peanut. I have purchased many items from their website and have always been pleased with their products.
