Heaven for Posh Pets! – WOW! Trixie and Peanut is a truly beautiful store with the most amazing merchandise. I have shopped on their website and was so excited to visit the store when I was in NYC. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. No customer service – My friends keep buying my dogs presents from here. I have had problems with defective merchandise and the basic reaction is "too bad" "you loose"! Not only would I never buy anything here again but I am going to let my very generous friends know that I do not want anything from this store. The staff is so rude. Dog Heaven!!! – Trixie + Peanut is truly dog heaven! I hadn't been back to this store in over two years after my beloved Frenchie passed away but my parents gave me a new puppy as an early Christmas present and after visiting every new pet boutique, I finally made my way back here. Great for Gifts! – I stumbled across this fun little pet boutique today. While I do not have a dog or cat, it looked so cute, I couldn't resist going in for a quick look. To my surprise, I actually ended up doing quite a bit of Christmas shopping there. They had great gifts for all of my friends with dogs and cats. Please do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY! – At first I thought "this is great - nice selection of cute doggie stuff!" However, after spending 70 bucks on a Polartec parka for my puppy, the velcro closure came off at the seams, only three days after I purchased the item. No problem, I thought. Just take it back and exchange it, right? Wrong! Won't take back defective merchandise - HORRIBLE! – Horrible customer service experience. We purchased a Polartec parka which started to fall apart two days after bringing it home. We wanted a simple exchange. Trixie and Peanut denied us an exchange, citing an unpublished policy of theirs that appeared to be made up on the fly. Fee to return defective merchandise – Don't fall in the trap of buying something here. Shopper beware. I read other reviews regarding merchandise being defective (in my case, zipper improperly sewn on), and the terrible experiences the customers had with the staff trying to resolve it. My experience backs them up.
