Volhard Food Found Here! – Just wanted to write a quick review for anyone looking for raw dog food options. They actually sell the Natural Diet Foundation food developed by Wendy Volhard at Trixie and Peanut. I have a boxer with canine colitis and my friend suggested that I speak with the people there (apparently THE Peanut is a boxer) and they recommended this food. Great place for your pet's needs and then some! – I shopped Trixie + Peanut's Pet Emporium from their web-site. I would love to see their store in person!! I needed a bag of some sort to put my Chihuahua, Buster in. We have an 8 mos. old Staffordshire-Bull Terrier, Quigley, who thinks my 5 lb. Buster is her chew toy. Can't wait to order more! – I ordered the dog bat wings for Halloween and the Christmas antlers off the internet. I used to sew myself so I really know quality work. These were extremely well made with high quality material. I just love them and can't wait to order more items. Very fast delivery also. A great deal.
Terrible staff---Ordinary items displayed in a sterile environment coupled with unhelpfulness--no thanks. – It's a shame. This place could have been incredibly convenient. Beautiful Store with Fantastic Merchandise – My fellow New Zealanders came to visit NYC and they actually demanded that I bring them to this pet store. WOW! I was really impressed... and I don't even have a dog! The store is absolutely beautiful and the merchandise is displayed in such a nice uncluttered way. It really shattered my idea of a pet store. Healthy Pet Food & Treats – I never thought of going to Trixie & Peanut because first of all, I'm a guy and have a big dog and secondly, I really considered it to be one of those kind of froufy, girly pet stores. My dogwalker friend suggested that I stop in there because they sold dog food. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that they actually sold my dog's hard to find raw diet and freeze-dried treats. Best Online Pet Boutique! – They definitely love dogs at Trixie + Peanut! Not only do they have the largest selection of quality pet products, but they actually stock the products they sell on their website so the items you order arrive on time. So unkind... I am astonished – I recently had a bad experience here. I purchased a new harness for my dog and he passed away a few weeks later. The harness was never used and because they have a rigid store policy that it is store credit only - they were not willing to give me a refund. Something for everyone! – As a long time pet owner, I've been in many, many stores over the years.
