I waited in the er not an extremely long time but i did wait about an hour to be seen in the room. The doctor spent maybe 5 minutes with me. I didnt agree with the course of treatment. My medical problem did not get treated and im still in a great deal of pain. My at home care instructions were wrong because i wasnt treated! I spent more time waiting then I did being helped by this facility. Very disappointed.
I just had a total knee replacement on Tuesday September 12th. I was only there for 2 days but I must say, the treatment I received was top notch. From the registration, to the nurses, to the anesthesiologists, to the surgeon, to the physical therapist and occupational therapist, the case manager, and any other staff I encountered. Everyone was cheerful and friendly and eager to help in any way they could. Being in the hospital with such an amazing staff made my stay much more pleasant than one would think. Gastrointestinal front desk girls need a lesson in efficiency. We waited 3hrs for a precedure. We finally ask how much longer did we have to wait...answer was "we thought you left, you didn't answer when we called your name"...there are two waiting rooms side by side, the first area was full so we were in the other room...no one bothered to walk over and check the second area...it's closed off by a petition and windows so we didn't hear...apt was at 1:00, we were done at 6:00 for an hour precedure
Excellent treatment from the nurses Miriam, Pam and Sarah from the 3rd floor, room 319 were very attentive and servant. Thank you for such excellent work.
I was in Southern Hills with blood clot for 5 days they was wonderful to me..and they saved my grandsons life when his appendix ruptured..I always say nice things about this hospital
