Summit is making stupid mistakes. They originally mandated that no one could visit their family members giving birth or after birth. Now they are arbitrarily setting up rules to block certain trained & certified doulas from assisting with births. I am outraged. My daughter is due in two weeks and has issues with anxiety. These new arbitrary and anti family rules put her and the baby in distress. She needs the support of her family or her chosen doula. Her doctor is outraged and the doula organization is outraged at Summit. A... read more

I’ve been there 17 times this year and they managed to deal with my issues effectively and quickly, especially during a pandemic. I’ve had several NEGATIVE COVID-19 tests. All of my doctors, but one, round there.

This is from one of your nurses. We cannot have people in healthcare that hate and condone killing black people. Please let me know how you intend to handle it.

Business response:

I went to the ER a few days ago and ended up having pneumonia. Every. Single. Person. In this ER was so unbelievably sweet and caring I didn’t want to leave. Lol they gave me a blanket without asking, water and Gatorade without asking, asked if I was comfortable several times. Had a constant smile even though it was 1 in the morning and it had been a very busy day. God bless them. I wish I could thank each person individually for caring for me. ❤️❤️

Business response:

Thank you so much for taking the time to share these thoughts and for the positive rating! We will share it with our Portland ER team.

I will never understand this place. How I can apply time and time again for positions- I do no drugs, I have incredible experience and looking vigorously for a great position.. then I see people who are practicing addicts who are able to get positions with this hospital. It’s mind boggling. I had a friend a very long time ago who worked in the ER as a tech who would go in the restroom and shoot up. Also have sex with other nurses and techs in the restrooms. What a shame.
