liar liar I was taking out a loan against my 401-K to purchase a vehicle, was planning on paying cash so Jeff said I could just write a personal check to place a hold on a car I wanted and once my loan came thru then I would call Toyota/dallas and they would deposit that check, he assured me that until they heard from me they wouldn't deposit my check. These people can't be trusted. Do not purchase from ToD I would encourage you to look elsewhere if you're shopping for a Toyota in DFW. These people cannot be trusted to follow through on their promises. My wife and I purchased a Highlander from ToD back in the beginning of the year. On our test drive, we discovered a quirk with the remote start system, where the vehicle would shut off when you open any door on the vehicle. Never again ! My wife went to Toyota of Dallas as she found the car of her dreams, 2002 Lexus SC430 with low miles. If this was the right car, our plan was for her to secure the deal and put a deposit on it and I would come the next day and pay for the car in full. The advertised price was $10,800. Had an excellent purchase and post purchase experience I bought my 2015 Toyota corolla from Toyota of dallas. I got the best price and an outstanding post purchase service . Meet Mr Syed and you will be taken care. I got small scratches on my car wIthin a week after the purchase and I just called up Syed ... he asked me to drive over. Bad experience buying used car We bought an used 2013 Corolla here in the end old 2013....a trade-in per sales with 10K. - We were sold it as an LE model although there was no sticker on it. When we inquired later, they ordered and mailed us an 'LE' sticker. When it was time to change tires, we found out it is actually an 'L' model with 15" rim, and not an LE which would have a 16" rim. Don't bother to make an appointment Toyota of Dallas' website makes coming in for service on Sunday sound so appealing -- discount, donuts, an appointed time for your service -- Sounds great, right? Don't believe it. It's first come, first served, as usual, but fewer service advisors, no donuts, which is healthier, but don't promise them on your website, and when I mentioned the $29.99 price, the service advisor said he'd have to check -- obviously, he hasn't looked at their website Sunday Service page. SCAM! We ask for an out the door quote on a vehicle. We were given a direct quote. We went over the quote 3 times with the salesman AND the manager (Cody) we wanted to make sure before we drove over an hour away that all of our numbers matched up. We went over every possible fee. We drove the hour away to test drive the car. They insisted that the car was $7,000 more than the quote. That was the lowest they could do. $7,000 is a HUGE mistake! Horrible Experience! We had a truly horrible experience at Toyota of Dallas searching for our daughter's first car. We purchased a used Corolla from them, only to find out that the previous owner(s) had been smokers. They covered up the smoke smell very well when we test drove the vehicle one evening, but the next afternoon after sitting in the heat, we could barely sit in the car before our eyes started tearing up and burning.
