I just noticed my review from 2020 wasn't published, so I'm reposting it. Wanted my details for Track and Trace which is fair enough but expected me to write it in an open access sign-in book where customer details are visible to everyone, contravening the GDPR which, believe it or not, has not been suspended due to Covid 19. Also made me feel like a second class citizen by wearing a face mask for tourists approaching the door but not for locals
What a nice pub. Friendly people good beer great staff what else would you need.
Lovely local pub my family and I visited whilst on holiday in Wales. Great service and the couple who run the pub are absolutely fantastic. They went above and beyond to secure us a table and provide any additional support we needed. Would definitely recommend visiting if you are in the area. 10/10
Well...... I can definitely say you will NOT find a warmer welcome ANYWHERE in the UK!!!! We were treated like old friends even though we have only been to the Towy a hand full of times. Gorgeous, Cosy pub with the added bonus of the river running just outside the door. PLEASE visit if you are in the area. I promise you will not be disappointed 😍
Limited menu but food was alright, good burger, below average chips and the rice tasted like it was from a packet. You're mainly paying for the view here.
