Positive points, friendly welcome, nice atmosphere, cozy room, lovely breakfast. NEGATIVE points, shower rail very loose, Black mould in silicon around shower, xpelair covered in old dust, hot water comes out of cold tap. Coffee/sugar damp, was chucked. It is a pub, so don't expect early nights as very loud in room, tractors coming past window very early a.m, so awake very early. Floor in pub dirty, same food on floor second evening. Pitch perfect stay … Matt made us welcome immediately and Alongside Anthony the owner made every effort to ensure a really lovely stay . The small bar with open fire and stunning views , the super comfy beds and old world charm ( but with powerful hot shower ! ) , delicious dinner and the best eggs Benedict with the , literally , best cup of tea I’ve had outside of home ! Anthony took time to chat about the fascinating pictures and decor and we’d left feeling that they really would like to see us again .. perfect
Lovely oldie worldie pub, with good beer and real fire.
A really lovely place to stay. The food and service was amazing. Will defiantly stay there again.
