I ordered 5 items on November 24 through Touch of Modern for Christmas gifts. They tell you that it can take 2-3 weeks to receive items. As of December 19th, I have received one of the items. The other four have not shipped - one says it hasn't been processed! Clearly these will not be here for Christmas despite ordering a month in advance. Their policy is no refunds, so I have tried to contact them to cancel my orders since I have to now go out and find replacement gifts. They charged me for an order I cancelled immediately after it was placed. No credits have been made to my account and the bank charged me $31.00 to stop payment. These guys are completely scammer, showing something and selling totally different items. All they are good at is making nice attractive product picture & video. I ordered for some "3D Illusion Lamps". But what I received is a ********* innovation I have ever seen. These guys are naive and shouldn't be in market! I wished there were an option for negative rating!! Even one Star is a complement to these people!!

I ordered an expensive lighting fixture from this company'. They sent me the wrong item and I contacted them to discuss this issue. It's been over a week, they still have not issued me a refund, they have not returned my calls, emails, or texts. I was only able to get a hold of one person who said she would email me info and never did. Since I have waited on hold on numerous occasions to speak to a customer service rep. These people are scammers. I ordered something and received totally something else. When I emailed them back they told me that they are out of stock and can offer me store credit, so I can buy something else that is probably not what I'll receive . While I can still go and order the same thing online. If it's was out of stock, why would I be able to buy it again 4 weeks after I placed my order and received it.They depend on your laziness to just accept what they've sent. Ordered 3 charging cords for iPhone for xmas presents. Two did not work and one worked for a week. Ordered two more delivered on 3/8/2017. Pluged them in and neither worked with iPhone or ipad. They need to test their products. I did get a refund from them.

Worst customer service ever. I've tried to call and talk to someone 5 times and get sent to an answering machine every time. The machine says they will call back "in the order it was received" but it is now 2 weeks later and no call back. Some of the products are cool but in general ToM is not a good company at all.

I have placed dozens of orders totally hundreds of dollars with Touch of Modern and have been 100% satisfied with their service, products and problem resolutions. Some of their items take a while to receive but this is clearly explained on their web pages. They sell items that ship in-bulk from a third party suppliers. Orders from are often not shipped by the supplier until sufficient orders have been taken so that many items can be shipped at once, thus reducing handling costs and these savings help keep the costs to custom... read more

I ordered an item meant to be a Christmas gift on Dec 2 and today is January 2. It still has not even been packaged or shipped although it said it would ship by Dec 23. Their customer service is absolutely horrible; hands down the worst company I have ever dealt with thus far. When they do rarely respond, it is not helpful and then they disappear again without any insight.
