Torchy's Tacos started in 2006 with a mobile trailer, a little red Vespa, and a man with a passion for good food. The founder, Mike Rypka, left an executive chef position to chase his dreams by investing everything he had into Torchy's Tacos. With a new, experimental menu ready to serve but no mouths to feed, Rypka jumped on his Vespa and started throwing out samples in an attempt to draw customers to his trailer. The queso and tacos were great. The unpleasant woman behind the counter was not. When I asked to speak with a manager the busboy looked completely lost. He spoke with another blonde gentleman who just came back to say there was nobody in management at the restaurant. He said “Tony was never here” and no other managers were either. He said someone named Zane was also a manager but was not ever here either. Hopefully someone in charge reads this and addresses this issue both with the staff and the nonexistent management staff.

Great selection & great food! I went for the first time, and I had the Chicken Fajita and the Avacodo on corn tortillas. They were delicious!
