I wasn't sure who to see now that Dr Maiteh is gone. I decided on Shannon Sander's which was a big mistake! She was rude, belittling and unprofessional. So this will be long.... The first remark came from the girl who took me to the room, "oh you're a patient of Dr Maiteh, he really messed up." That was uncalled for. Amber at the window in pain management is very rude. She seems to like to argue about everything. Even the simple task of making me an appt. had her looking back through my chart to see the last time I was there, see that I changed an appt. and wanted to know why I needed another appt. I go 4 times a year for the same thing. Since she was digging through my records being noisy and making it a point the let me know I had changed an appt. she should have noticed that I come routinely. Toledo clinic knew Dr. Maitrh was committing fraud my son who has adhd, sensory processing disorder and autism will be left without his medication that he desperately needs. They have another neurologist he could go to but they refused because they said that that dr only sees patients who are 11 and older. My son is 10. But they also said that if he were at least 100 lbs that she would see him. We found another specialist but he cant get in for an exam until October. My husband was a patient in the hospital & the Toledo Clinic must have done some lab work. My husband was referred by the VA because they did not do the surgery he needed. Toledo clinic sent their bill in & evidently the VA doesn’t pay to their liking. We sent the Toledo clinic the authorization number for billing & told to re-submit for payment. Toledo clinic refused to do so. They are deliberately refusing the VA payment to harass us. VA will pay the bill in full but if we pay the bill, the VA will not reimburse us. Nice w... read more
RecommendedIt is always busy. Needs a remodel but the doctors and staff are wonderful. They are very good at their jobs. My first choice for health care needs.
The technician at the imaging center on Holland Sylvania exhibited a whole new level of rudeness and unprofessionalism today. Also possibly violated HIPPA.
This is the 2nd time in one month they forgot to send my mothers script to her pharmacy. Talked to office manager today and she could care less!
My husband just had a procedure today...Better be prepared to pay your entire co-pay BEFORE your procedure. They will call you almost as soon as you make the appointment to ask for you to make the co-pay! If you happen to show up without your payment source, they will call out a supervisor who expects you to call back later that day to make the payment. The people there were nice enough when I went there, but it's practically impossible to reach Dr. El Khatib's office by phone. I had a bad reaction to a medication they gave me and I can't even leave a message. Ridiculous!
