Located inside the mall on basement 2. Standard menu for Toast Box. Ordering the food was easy. Food was served within acceptable time frame. The food was alright but I did find the food a bit oily to my liking. The prata was not bad, still a bit crispy. Overall still good.
Always packed, especially the B2 outlet near the MRT. The kopi is consistently strong and the kaya toast hits the spot. Tables are crammed close and queues move fast, so it's strictly for a quick local breakfast fix, not a slow chill.
The hike in price is so bad. Kaya toast set ($8.40) is so expensive. Bread so little. Go food court/Yakun better.
During my visit, I encountered a male counter staff who came across as rude. He was unable to hear my order despite me repeating it three times, and his response and tone made the interaction uncomfortable. I understand that working in a busy environment can be challenging, but I hope that staff can remain patient and courteous when attending to customers.
I order my drinks 3 times. Cashier pretend not to hear. Serve the tau sa pah on a wet plate.
