Had Minced pork rice, Teochew Double Delight & hot Barley drink, it was good. Staff were helpful. Teochew Double Delight Mooncake: A unique mix of sweet red bean paste paired with a translucent, chewy "crystal" or melon/winter melon filling mixed with fragrant melon seeds and candied winter melon strips. Distinct, delicate, paper-thin pastry layers that flake apart easily, contrasting with the dense, chewy, and sweet interior. Barley is a versatile, high-fiber cereal grain from the grass family.
As I frequent this outlet, the friendly staff remembers my order. Shout out to the staff Hui wen. Good work.
The young chinese lady at the cashier, was exceptional. Her patience and chirpy tone during my visit early noon today made a difference!
The Mee Rebus was delicious and full of flavour. However, at S$7.70, the portion feels a little pricey. It’s probably not something I’d eat regularly, mainly because of the price. That said, I did enjoy the dish, so it’s still worth trying! Maybe I will try the Curry Chicken the next time. Just wish it doesn’t cost that much.
