I took my car to Firestone 1796 Morse Rd, Columbus, OH 43229 The worst experience thus far, I took my car for inspection which they did cause the strut was coming off. So I know I have to get that fixed. Told them to show me how much it will cost and they did and I told them let's wait till Friday cause I have to talk to my dad. We had our vehicle STOLEN from this location's lot on May 12, 2022 after leaving it there the night before for a state vehicle inspection that was supposed to be done of April 28, 2022. We left our keys in the drop slot and our **** F250 was stolen and they did not contact us until 10:30 am on the 12th. We would have never had to bring it there if they would have done the inspection on April 28th, with the oil change and tire rotation that we told them to do, instead they only did their inspection. I have been a customer for over 7 years and have had no problems. I have had all types of service, tires, oil changes, brakes, tune ups, etc. I do recall that shortly after I started going for service there was a change in management. I have had no issues with them and many times they saved me money. One suggestion I have is do not go there and expect everyone to drop their tools and attend to your problem. My daughter took her car to this tire plus and made a deal with the manager. They person in charge would not honor the deal. It cost us over $240 extra. We had one bad lug stud but they replaced all of the lug studs this cost us $200 dollars for parts that were not failing. Then we had insurance through *********** they could not process this as the check sent by email went to spam. So finally we called *********** and the gave them the $140:by credit card. They diagnosed it as the solenoid switch, only replaced one, which did not fix the problem. I had another mechanic look at the engine, he recommended replaced both solenoid switches but with factory products and that is what fix the problem. Firestone used an aftermarket product as per the new mechanic, they should have at least asked me before they use that product, It would have saved me the headache and money. They charge for services that are not being performed. Took my truck in for ABS Brake light warning and check engine light warning. Was told had to replace a sensor. Had it replaced paid for and serviced. But few weeks later they came back on. So I went to another Firestone and was told all the other person did, not knowing it was another Firestone whom did service they said that the mechanic pulled the battery cable to make the warning lights go off. I have a lifetime alignment on my truck! I went in and they wanted to charge me $283 to alien my truck. I had to call corporate and finally got my truck aligned for free like it should have been as I have a contract for a free life time aliment. honestly, I really don't get it and I should not have to call corporate to get done what I paid for 20 years ago.... just to think the **** the pull on every one every day an how the rip you off they are no good.... !!!!!!!!!!! worst ever. don't go there they will rip you off for sur... read more
I called Firestone Complete Auto Care on Sunday, April 24th and spoke with John. I explained what was happening with the brakes and he said to bring the car in on Monday the 25th at 11am and it will be ready for pickup by the end of their business day around 6pm. My son calledlater the afternoon on the 25th and they asked if we could leave the car and pick it up on Tuesday morning because they weren't done working on it. These people are the reason why mechanics have a bad rap. On 4/4/22 I took my car in for a oil change, even made sure I had an appointment at 8am so I could plan my day accordingly. The manager at the 120th/Colorado (Thornton, CO) Kevin, was the rudest person I have ever dealt with. He quoted me around 2-3 hours. At 1:30pm (5+ hours later) I called and was told my car is "next in line." I finally was able to get my car at 4:45, when they made sure that I hurried up to get there because they close at 5.
