I purchased a brand new 2018 Chevy Silverado and have kept it well-maintained with routine services. Despite reporting transmission issues for years during these services, the dealership dismissed my concerns, attributing the problems to other causes. Now, at 89,000 miles and just 5 months from paying it off, my transmission has failed, and my extended warranty is expired. Unfortunately they did not have it in stock but they got it for me the very next day.
