Just back from two days with friends Rhona and Ewen. What a wonderful place to stay. Platters and afternoon teas lovely , breakfast perfect with so much choice. Rooms are cosy and amazingly traditional style as is the rest of the hotel . Wonderfully and traditionally furnished with log fire. This is a tranquil place so forget lounge TV. Just chat. There aren’t enough words for how much we enjoyed our stay at Tigh na Sgiath, it was just perfect! Iain and Elaine were both wonderful hosts, couldn’t have been better. The whole building was spotless, not a crumb on the floor or stain on the walls. Beautiful character. Our afternoon tea that we had, I’m still thinking about it! I had a wonderful experience at the Hotel - i was visiting for work The rooms were perfect just felt like sleeping at home And the Breakfast among the best anywhere I have had when travelling for work thanks again

Booked the property from a Facebook recommendation by Dog Friendly NC 500 - as we are doing the NC500 in our car and spreading the journey over nearly three weeks by spending 2 days in each area. Based just 45 mins from Inverness and 20 mins from Aviemore, this is truly a Scottish property that Elaine and Iain make you feel at home. Wide wooden staircase, traditional Scottish interior, four poster beds as well as very dog friendly make this an ideal property to stay at. I’m sure anyone who books will not be disappointed!
