I received horrible services from Loan Depot. The changed the loan estimate to benefit them without your knowledge. They expect you to agree to terms that benefit them not the customer. I had asked for refi cash-out of approx 30K instead they changed the loan estimate amount to show them receiving closing cost up to 20K and then asked for an additional 4K from the borrower. Ridiculous! They want customers to refinance a loan and take the cash out for themselves and not to the borrower. A bunch of crooks.

Very personable and professional. I was amazed at the speed that the whole process took and we were kept up to date on everything. The communications with our loan team were top notch. I have read some of the bad reviews and, frankly, I don't understand how others could have such a bad experience with this company. Ours was a great experience (total time from start to finish was 25 days) and couldn't have asked for better.

Loan depot was working from home so their loan officers could tell you all kinds of lies.escrow is a nightmare now they are trying to make my loan higher .it started out with 2.5 now **** I have credit score of 824. Big scammers

There were multiple things which were done well and others extremely well. 1. Process was clear and straight forward. From a consumer perspective this is what we want and need, stress is a factor when buying and refinancing a home as most consumers don't understand the underwriting process or why certain documents are needed.2. This was a refinancing for my home that took longer and was far more complicated and convoluted than my original loan ever was. It took almost five months to complete. Every time I completed one set of requirements another half a dozen was added. Even after we "closed" on the loan with a notary, Loan Depot was still asking for additional documentation. Corrections were not made timely and caused several attempts to close. Closing documents had errors that were asked to be correct weeks prior. Broken promises and little effort to correct the problems.
