Not a good experience at all , after checking my credit my score dropped 20 something points , I talked to them 3 days it sounded good then the details email came to me with crazy terms I wasnt doing. Sent over 500 for appraisal, and a refinance wouldve been only for a mortgage rate drop from 5 to 4 a half percent and costed me over 10 k to do the loan. I said no way but if I dont get my 500 dollars back Im not letting it go, careful not to fall for a bait and switch with these guys especially ******* who will come across gr... read more

LoanDepot is one of the premier lending institutions. I recently refinanced my mortgage and it was one of the smoothest processes I have had. My parents refinanced too and the had a great experience as well. I would definitely recommend using them ??

Terrible company. I paid $500 for an appraisal after being led to believe I would be approved for my refinance. The appraiser assured me that they would not go this far unless they intended to approve. House came in appraised at $520,000, only owe $223,000. They denied me. A lot of money for nothing. Loan Depot told me I could use the appraisal if I applied somewhere else. I have been told by a ****** *** company that is simply not true.
