I do not recommend LoanDepot. There sales people getting you into the loan is the end of the customer service. After the loan is in place if you have any problem at all you will call in and the customer service staff will take forever to try to figure out any solution. Then it is hit or miss if they are able to implement a solution or not. For instance, there appeared to be an increase in our insurance. LoanDepot applied a mortgage payment to this escrow difference without asking permission or even notifying me. So that mean... read more

I was investigating refinancing a Reverse Mortgage with a Conventional Loan with Loan Depot. I had completed a loan application and provided some documentation to the loan officer. Half way through my loan process, I would have given the company 2 stars at best. Then *********************** took over as my loan officier and my opinion of the company changed. He was professional and very responsive to comments/questions. I recommend them fr loans.

Absolutely terrible experience with this company!!!!! I've had to call more than 10 times in order to get assistance and have been given nothing but the run around!!! I still don't have a resolution to my issue at this point. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.
