I chose to go with Loan Depot for my mortgage. The loan process was very easy with them. It went very smooth. BUT beware of the fine print that they have the right to sell your mortgage to whom ever they want. There is NOTHING you can do or say about it.2 weeks before my first mortgage payment was due, Loan Depot sent a letter stating no to pay them the first payment because my loan was sold to a company in ***************. Loan depot's customer service is terrible. I have been dealing with the loan modification department for the last 6 months, and 6 months is being nice. I have received emails, and letters saying they are working on it. Each correspondence from the company has a separate number with a extension to contact directly if I have any questions.
