Misleading loan information. So this what we have discussed , we cancelled the previous loan(19yrcashout) bc the cost increased due to incorrect homeowners insurance amounts being added. I recently found checking account under my asset verification that was not our checking account. Three months ago in March 2021, I spoke to ******* **** at Loan Depot who informed me I was eligible to refinance my VA loan at a 2.25% rate. I went ahead and initiated the process. I could never get anyone to return my calls when I had questions or problems. I closed almost one month ago and my "cash out" check was shorted by around $300. I have questioned it every single day for 14 days and I keep getting the run-around. In the beginning I was supposed to get $11,000 back after refinancing, and I ended up getting $1,200 and they still owe me the additional $300 but I can't get any answers.
