TL;DR - Do NOT use them. Loan Depot refused to pay the market rate for our appraisal causing delays and a missed closing date, which cost my family an additional $1,200 out of pocket. Loan was ready for appraisal on 10/21 w/ an expected close date of 11/18. Somehow that wasn't enough time for them to get an appraisal report back to close on time. Because of that, we had to pay $1,200 in additional rental costs rather than be homeless (with our 2 young children and cat) in a state we were new to. Was told (on a recorded line)... read more

I applied for a home loan with LoanDepo and the points and fee charges they sent me did not show any point charges. My loan officer was Will ******* and they took much longer time as they estimated to me first. I had to contact the managers and supervisors many times which was very time consuming for me. After I finally got the loan approval I noticed that they are going to charge me points for this loan! Also, I did not even do any cash out or any changes.
