Stayed 1 night B & B as we were attending a local wedding. We requested a walk in shower which was absolutely great. The breakfast was delicious with a very wide choice, we certainly enjoyed sitting in a cosy dining room to enjoy it even more. A very well runv family hotel which we highly recommend. I rang a week before our arrival requesting an early arrival just to place our luggage in ghe room
Stayed recently for 2 nights for a wedding in the area. Staff very friendly and helpful, managed to get our room early. Stayed in a standard room which was lovely and clean. Comfy bed and huge bathroom. Tea/coffee making facilities and iron provided. Good breakfast choice. Ate here on the 1st night, food was really good and reasonably priced. Only downside was noise from outside the pub until after closing (couldn't hear the pub itself), but that wouldn't deter me from returning, as I know which rooms to avoid. 100% recommen... read more
Perfectly positioned in the heart of Barnard Castle . We would highly recommend The Three Horseshoes for great rooms , great food and great service . Room 1 is a large room at the front of the hotel looking out over the main street. Plenty of hot water and a good shower . Only let down was the WiFi in the room was poor but was fine in the bar . We would definitely stay again .
