What a fabulous place! It was so quiet and peaceful, the owners were so friendly and flexible when we had to arrive slightly later than planned. The pitch was large with electric hook ups easy to find, which you just topped up with a card if needed. The self service pub was AWESOME, we had so much fun and it really took us back to working behind the bar during our uni days hahaha. Love the village and the pub had many lovely meals here but had meal with the new menus (street food ) but we were very disappointed . Proper cooked meals of before have gone replaced by what seems like something frozen and chucked in the air fryer along with frozen chips , sorry we won't be going again . This place was a regular for us ,after a nice walk or an evening meal but current food has put us off

Deze camping hadden we eerder willen ontdekken. Fijne, kleine camping met plek voor tenten, campers, caravans en trekkershutten. Grote plaatsen, sanitair uitstekend en schoon. Zeer gastvrije uitbaters. De gezellige pub verzorgt ook eenvoudige maaltijden en tapt een lekker biertje. De omgeving lokt uit tot fietsen en wandelen (Viking Way o.a.) Aanrader.

This is now my “local” even though it’s over ten miles from my abode. The owner and the staff are good honest folk, I love the self service aspect of pulling your own pint. This is the way forward, a very well done from me. :)
