Sales Approach Needs Flexibility I believe this review will echo sentiments already shared. I had a door-to-door young sales rep come knocking on a night when it was pretty cold outside. I wasn't in the immediate need for a product, but had long considered a side door upgrade. As a courtesy to his hard work, I agreed to a sales visit. Windows We recently had our windows replaced with Thomas Construction and were very impressed with their craftmanship. My husband is a do-it-yourselfer and pays very close attention to detail and commented on yow particular the company was installing our iwndows, taking no shortcuts.
No Complaints Here I have had several projects done by Thomas Construction and I was very satisfied with the results. The staff was very polite and helpful. The home visit for the estimate was very informative, the installer was always on time and they did an excellent job. I have been complemented on my home improvement projects many times. I paln to use this company whenever I do any more work to my home. I would definitely recommend them to you, my family and my friends without a doubt.
Disappointed in Service I had them come and install gutters and a bathtub liner in my home. When I returned from Afghanistan six months later I discovered the downspouts were never anchored to my home and the tub liner was not properly adhered to the wall. They made a few attempts to get the tub right before I got back but never could. My drain now leaks in the basement and they refuse to repair it. AWFUL I really wish I did not even have to give 1 star to this place. We were sought out by them when we were having our windows replaced. We got a quote from them and after a few other quotes decided to have them do it. We put a clause in the contract that said that we would only continue with the project after we 100% agreed on the financing they got for us. Well it turns out the only financing was going to be a 20 year loan (a mortage) that would end up making 20,000 dollar windows cost over 60,000 dollars. Of course, we ... read more
Worse Construction Experience Ever The worse construction experience I ever had. After 2 and 1/2 months they finally finished the job. Two small decks - 5' X 10' and a 3' X 7. Poor workmenship. Poor quality products. Damaged our lawn and side walk while performing the work. Lied about not subcontracting out work and was promised a crew would complete the job once started within 3 days. One person showed up to build a deck by himself. They had to fire him for he was so bad after we and others continued to complain. Had most o... read more
Thomas is very Efficient Thomas scheduled my appointment and installation in a timely fashion. Everything was done ahead of schedule. The workers cleaned up their mess. I LOVE my new Glass Block Windows.
Happy Previous Customer Every time Thomas Construction has done work for our family, it has been done with quality products (probably the best), excellent workmanship, and done in a timely manner. The workers are very reliable and cordial. I would recommend them to anyone.
Quiet Home after Thomas Windows My husvand and I felt as if we had moved into a new house after our new windows were installed. Our air quality improved, there was no glare with the sun shone into our famly room, and the whole house was just so quiet! Road noise, barking dogs, and other neighborhood sounds are now barely audible. Our 10-year-old daughter, who is normally up every morning by 7 AM, slept until 9:30 the morning after the installation. I can't wait to see our utility bills!
