Heard good things about this pub and most of the reviews are positive. Booked a table weeks in advance but ended up being placed in a run down section of the pub. Not awful but not as nice as the main dining area. We had to find the table ourselves as they were too busy and were concentrating on serving a large table in the main dining area. Went to the York Inn yesterday having read a few reviews. Have driven past it plenty of times, and always wanted to stop and visit. So my wife and I booked a table for 13:15. The pub is located in a small village and is very popular. We were told to find our table as they were very busy , and didn’t have the time to show us where it was. Nice food, very slow service
Awesome meal. Excellent service. Longer than usual wait tonight, but as always the food was worth the wait.
