A long slog down the A1 and A14 to get here but wow, it was worth it!! We were welcomed by Natalie who gave us a tour and provided instruction for some of the less obvious controls. We could then unpack and relax, and this is the perfect place for chilling. Just make sure you’re fit enough for 4 flights of stairs (49 steps to the top). The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need along with a welcome pack of essentials for breakfast. Stayed at the windmill for 4 nights. We went with high expectations from the photos etc but the actual experience was far far better. Absolutely wonderful place. Location was perfect and the host was very helpful. Can't recommend enough for a relaxing break in an idyllic setting.

We stayed here in May for our honeymoon, Natalie was extremely friendly and welcoming. She gave us an overview of all the features and highlights of the building as well a few necessities. We were also provided with a bathrobe and slippers! Loved our stay here and will be back for our anniversary
