What a lovely hotel, modern rooms and well cared for. Staff and owners are very welcoming. Breakfast was lovely and a nice choice of drinks from the bar. Won't find better value for the money.
Booked last minute as our other booking got cancelled, the room and breakfast was spot on
With a planned visit to the Stadium of Light and Durham city, ‘The Whitehouse’ was an ideal base. Geoff and Alan are great hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Geoff makes a fantastic breakfast and his scrambled egg - second to none! Really nicely decorated, well presented with ample parking and some rooms have a view of the sea which was a lovely bonus. Great stay !😀
Lovely greeting on arrival. Shown around, lots of chat and just really nice guy. Beautiful rooms, lovely service in the mornings at breakfast. The 2 guys were just so friendly and genuine.
We just returned from this hotel today after spending the weekend there. It is absolutely fabulous and the photos are accurate. Very stylish and comfortable. Large room, large and lovely modern shower. Rachel looked after us extremely well and single handedly cooked a lovely full English breakfast the following morning. We enjoyed a walk along the beach. Excellent hotel.
