Came through secret escapes for a night away, breakfast, and gin distillery workshop and from the moment we arrived we couldn’t fault it. The rooms were beautiful (bathrooms could maybe use a refurb in a year or two but perfectly acceptable). went up to book Christmas dinner in June and last year we paid a deposit then paid rest in full by December the 1St they demanded payment in full so would of cost one thousand pound for the 10 of us so we walked out and will not be going and don't think many will.

My girlfriend and I stayed here after booking the date night package. We were pleasantly surprised about how great this hotel was. The room was spacious and private. The meals were spot on, and we were even lucky enough to have booked on the night of their relaunch party and had a brilliant night of entertainment in their function room. Fabulous location. Great for walking. Dog friendly. The dog treats in room was a lovely touch. We had evening meal which was great no complaints. Lovely room clean and modern all we needed
