Food nice, service at dinner was not great but at breakfas service was excellent. A historic English country pub full of character and eclectic items. Room and bathroom small, tiles in shower mouldy. Accommodation expensive for standard provided.
What a great find, a proper English pub which hasn't been messed about with serving good beer with good food.
The owners of this pub are consistently rude and blunt. The food tastes microwaved and the decor of this damp, stuffy establishment reminds me of someone’s living room that they’ve converted into a hospice. This is the only way to explain the uninviting, dingy, stale atmosphere. Would not recommend.

Tucked away off the main road is this lovely little pub with a good list of beers,and judging by the crowded restaurant on a Monday evening, is very popular. The garden is large enough for a quiet moment or a sunny summer soireé. Good Dogs are always welcome, and the staff are always lovely and never bite. :-)
