My friend and I had fish, chips, mushy peas and a glass of wine each for £30. It was excellent value, lovely meal and great sitting up on deck

Don’t waste your money in this place, fish?? What fish more batter than fish and dripping in grease. Mushy peas stone cold and the chips weren’t chips they were skin on fries from your local cheap supermarket. Save your money and go elsewhere. NO WAY IS THE FOOD FRESH!!! Love the way the owner responded regarding the cheap fries and nothing mentioned about the cold mushy peas or the greasy see through excuse for fish.

The only thing this place has going for it is that it is a cool ship. The food was disappointing - a waste of money and calories! Tiny bits of fish and cold chips. Expensive for what it is - you pay for the privilege of dining on a ship, not quality food. How they say this has the best fish & chips in Whitby is beyond me. There were so many other places to have fish & chips that would have been far nicer, I’m sure. It’s just a gimmick really with no focus on food quality. Very disappointing and would not recommend at all. Go... read more

Quite probably the worst pint of Guinness I’ve ever had. It shouldn’t look fizzy / frothy. It’s a unique venue. Would say arguably dangerous to enter - with the angle of the steps. Sat on the top deck / outside and it was nice views. Decently spread out tables. Nobody rushed over to take an order so was a bit slow on that.

“Fantastic Family Experience on the Whitby Endeavour!” What a brilliant evening we had on the Whitby Endeavour! We were seated below deck in a lovely, cosy setting — the perfect spot for our family to unwind and enjoy some quality time together. The food was absolutely top notch — tasty, well-presented, and plenty of choice for everyone at the table. The staff were friendly, attentive, and really added to the whole experience. A real highlight was the little museum onboard. It gave us a glimpse into Whitby’s maritime histor... read more
