I felt it was very structured, follow the planned procedures and not at all personal. The people in the waiting room were so sad, didn't seem like they had support in the doctors or staff. Cancer is so much more personal than we saw here but the second opinion made us happy we made the choice we did...to go elsewhere.

The day I found out I had cancer my local doctor (Lake Charles,La) announced that my test came back positive for cancer. I'll never forget the exact words he said next.."I want the best for you. I'm making a appt. at MD Anderson for you." That was Oct 15, 2009 my husband and my anniversary. Best advice and anniversary gift I could have received. Thank you MDA and all the staff.
