Although it's been over 23 years cancer free, I still go back every year for annual check ups. The situation isn't one that you want to be involved in to be there at M.D. Anderson. But the staff, the doctors, even the valet staff treat you with the utmost respect. My experience there was an awesome one. I felt as though I were the only patient they had. I love how most everyone is so kind and understanding. There of course may be an employee having a bad day but it is rare. I can understand with so many patients consulting there it can get hectic. I appreciate all that is being done for me. I have no regrets driving 6 hrs to consult there.
So thankful for my mom's doctors: Dr Cormier, Dr Royal, and Dr Tawbi they are the best. Effie, RN & Kristy PA have added to the wonderful care mom has received at the Melanoma Center. Thank you for the compassionate care you provide.
I think it is the best Hospital i have ever been in the service is great 5 star free meals 3 times a day i had 5 doctors my wife had a bed and TV and I had a bed and TV
MD Anderson is truly an amazing place. I say place because though its a Hospital its also its own community almost. They go above and beyond to try to help you the Pt and your loved ones as you go through you visit with them. God Bless YOU
I have been going there since 2009. I wouldnt go anywhere else. The staff of every clinic I have been in has been awesome. I had one bad experience and the patient care advocate took care of it immediately! I have recommended MD Anderson to several friends and family.
Best Hospital stay ever!!! Everyone went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and trying everything to control my pain. I had a good nurse in recovery but the best was when I was admitted and went up to P9. Desiree's positive energy was infectious and she stayed on top of everything. I can't remember my night nurses name but he was awesome as well he tried to anticipate everything I needed before I needed it...they were the BEST. M D Anderson is the best Cancer center in the world my wife and I both are patients here would not even consider any other Cancer faculty
I've been a patient since 2005 when I was first diagnosed with breast cancer. It came back again ten years later in 2015. I was well taken care of both times.
