We travel along way for my husband's cancer treatment and follow ups. Had we not heed of been dead by now based on the treatment our local doctors wanted to provide. With a little more than the test results of his biopsy CAT scan and blood work The doctor's at MDAnderson were able to pinpoint his very rare kidney cancer and treated appropriately. I cannot speak highly enough about the care and concern professionalism compassion and friendliness of everyone at MD Anderson and would never consider going anywhere else.

MD Anderson was great! My moms nurses and doctors were awesome. Her care was fantastic. However, I think some of the nurses there need to try and place themselves in the patients families shoes and ask themselves how they would want their loved ones treated.

My father recently discovered that he has liver cancer and travels to MDA several times a month for treatments and doctors visits. I have yet to run into anyone (patient or employee) who does t have a smile on their face. There is so much kindness and compassion at this hospital. One of my favorite people (whom I met this weekend) is the shuttle driver on the skywalk. She gave us such great and useful information and was such a delight to be around. Thabks for all the great rides Thai weekend Jennifer!

Our son was diagnosed with cancer in Dec 2016 and his oncologist referred him to MD Anderson and we have had nothing but outstanding teamwork during it stay. He had had his surgery and he is recovering after surgery. All praises to his doctors but most of all to God who is in control of all things. 🙏🏾😊

Agreed .... I was a patient beginning 1990's and I was so happy my Doctor sent me there .... it was quite far but well worth it ... when they released me back to my physician I was quite sad because of the good treatment they gave me .... I still have my card and I recently found out that my current insurance does include MD Anderson for future treatments..... as you know MOST insurances do NO longer approve you to have Hospital like MD Anderson, Cancer Center of America, Mayo Clinic, etc... thus making it "un-affordable" to... read more

Cancer is a word no one ever wants to hear in their lifetime... However, at MD Anderson they see you the person and not your cancer. The moment we walked in through those doors, my mother felt at peace for seeking a 2nd opinion. Best decision we ever made was to come here. Dr. Lam, his team of nurses, and the entire staff at MD Anderson are a god-send. They go above and beyond to make you feel like a person and not just another statistic. Allaying any fears, answering any questions, and explaining everything in detail has ma... read more
