went as part of an event (?trotterfeast ) this is a very interesting place to visit very traditional which is frequented by mainly by locals and we belive open in the evenings
Old pub unchanged in years ... Very authentic but welcoming
Loads of potential here. Could be a quality friendly boozer with loads of rustic rural Somerset charm, and on a good day maybe it is. Unfortunately on the day we visited there was a free-roaming bully breed dog that kept trying to attack ours, and the owner (landlord?) did nothing to stop it. Add to that some pretty awful DnB being played at high volume by a bloke in a gazebo, it kinda spoiled the vibe of what would otherwise have been a great afternoon with a few pints in the sun.
