My colleague and I needed a place near to the airport to get an early flight the next morning and the Tri-star hotel fitted our needs perfectly. Nigel, the owner was really friendly and extremely helpful in providing tips on where to go in the evening and how to get there. Excellent little family-run hotel close to airport: not quite within walking distance but an easy bus or taxi ride away. Bus nos X1 and X12 (from airport) stop outside. Onsite restaurant provides excellent evening meals and breakfast using locally-sourced ingredients, and there's a bar. Comfortable rooms with shower facilities, and triple glazing minimises aircraft noise. Owner Nigel gives a warm welcome, and the night we stayed was ably assisted by wonderful Jane.
