Had two gorgeous wedding rings handmade by Jane in Edinburgh, at very short notice for an elopement wedding, the customer service from her is second to none, way over and above anything we have received from a jeweller in the past . Would definitely recommend The Tappit Hen to everyone who wants top notch jewellery.
Jane was incredibly helpful when creating my wedding ring. Due to other ideas not working out, it was more last minute than I intended and I wasn't able to visit the workshop in person. Jane worked very hard to still offer a bespoke ring and make sure I had it for the wedding. She is clearly very skilled and talented in ring making and knew what to try to create what I wanted. We had a little trouble finding the shop, but once we contacted Jane and made an appointment, we enjoyed our experience at The Tappit Hen. After a few days poking into a few Edinburgh high street shops, I was not seeing what I was hoping to find - a silver thistle pendant charm. There were plenty out there, just not really to my taste. I let Jane know what I was looking for, and the day of our appointment, she had 6 or so options for me to choose from -some she'd just made that morning. Jane could not have been nicer or more accommodating. My ring is beautiful, and I would definitely do business with Tappit Hen again!
My fiancé and I are from Kentucky and we took a risk and ordered our wedding rings from Tappit Hen Gallery. Jane North was wonderful to work with and her personal touch made our rings more beautiful than we could ever have imagined. I recommend them highly whether you’re in the middle of Edinburgh or across the pond.
