Movies at The Strand are always an enjoyable outing here in Waynesville ~ we take friends and tell friends every chance we can! We love the Popcorn choices along with the extensive beer choices too ~ have even had an Ice Cream a few times! VERY happy to have the "first run" movie choices now right here in town (y)
Just watched a movie here while on our vacation. Don't let the small venue fool you or put you off the sound and screen quality are better than 90% of the cinemas. Good popcorn, local sodas were interesting and something to try, ice cream, even beer i believe. I thoroughly enjoyed it and wish we had something like this back home.

My sister, cousin and I stumbled upon this unique place while on our Thanksgiving vacation. We are from Florida and this was our last night here. What a wonderful theatre, friendly staff, beautiful scenery. It made for a magical memory that we'll never forget! I highly recommend The Strand!
