History Established in 1945. For three decades, movie nights at the old Strand Theater at 38 N. Adorable boutique theater. The specialty coffee drinks were very good, and the building is a true gem in our region.
Love the small venue, it fits in so nicely with our small town . The only downside is the seating, hopefully in the future they will change.
Very much enjoyed this venue. Great sound. Friendly staff. Sure hope you will have Wade Hayes back again SOON!!!!
Wow, I am officially impressed Waynesville! What an amazing downtown treasure. Quality, character, and great customer service. I am in love with the hand-tossed popcorn made with coconut oil. I am hopeful that the seating will improve in the future, sitting through a 2.5 hour movie was moderately uncomfortable. Despite that though, still my favorite movie-going experience thus far!
