About this business

Vampires beware! Garlic is abundant in everything on the menu here. Situated on Beverly Hills' Restaurant Row, this kitschy spot serves mostly Italian or as they call it, Cal-Italian. Call it what you want, but it's the garlic that you'll taste and remember. While the food is decent, it's the garlic gimmick that most people come for. The menu features a variety of pastas, chicken, meat, fish and even ice cream, all flavored with the little white bulb. This is a fun place for family and friends. If classy and refined is what ... read more

Do you smell something? – The aroma of garlic greets you at the door. Or maybe my sense of smell is just that keen. Garlic rules at this restaurant. The decor is very loud and gawdy, or one may even say distracting. All in all, food and service was okay, Just okay. Try the Chicken Lasagna.

Garlic is my all time favorite flavor so I may be biased. The food is delicious and the price is reasonable. I have dined here two times and loved it. The first time I went, we ordered, prime rib, 40 clove chicken, garlic rubbed baby back ribs, tiramisu, cheesecake, and garlic ice cream. The prime rib was tender and juicy, chicken was garlicky, ribs were ok. All the dessert were excellent. I really like the mole sauce that comes with the ice cream. The tiramisu was light. The cheesecake was a surprise. I didn't think it woul... read more

So good! – The food here is great- but cary some breathmints because they put a LOT of garlic in everything. It's gotten really trendy lately so it's harder to get a table, but still a great choice for a date or fun night out with friends.

Garlic Galore – Everytime I went here with my family and/or friends, i've had great food and great service. This place, however, is strictly for garlic lovers only since they put garlic in everything. When we got to the restaurant, our hostess and waiter were super nice. Our food was good. I suggest making a reservation just to speed things along.

garlickly good but doesnt overpower the food – they have a gimmick but they dont let it overpower the place: garlic. sometimes i forget that when im eating a meal that the purpose of the place is garlic. the food is good enough by itself and they just use garlic to flavor the meal, not killl it with garlic, which surprised me my first time here. i love the roasted garlic in the hot pan--i dont know how they do it but its amazing. the service, with their lil computers, are amazing. as a server myself, the staff is very attent... read more

Garlic Desserts? You Betcha... – Elegant and pricey this novelty restaurant caters to the garlic afficianados out there. You will not leave unscathed. The food is amazingly good, yet not overpowering. There is an elegant full bar and several theme rooms to enjoy. Valet parking is available.

Always a treat. – We do not get to came to this place very often but when I do, man what a treat. We start always with the bagna calda (spreadable roasted garlic) and then a nice combo skillet with mussels shrimp and crab. This time I tried the zuppa di pesce, a seafood mix in a tomato broth, delicious. My wife tried the silence of the lamb (go figure the name) also very good, nice and tender. To finish all up the garlic ice cream (I love it). The service was good too, friendly and efficient ad this time the manager was nice... read more

Worst dining experience EVER – Made reservation in a week advance for 23 people and we waited close to 2 hours to have their tables set. The place looks like Buca Di Beppo. Don't like the ambience at all. I started with a caesar salad (it was so bland that all I tasted was the croutons) and then I had the filet mignon with garlic mashed potatoes. The filet was indeed petite and the garlic mashed potatoes tasted like it came out of a box with no apparent taste of garlic. Then I had the chocolate sundae (if only they all their... read more

My mouth waters just thinking about this place. – The food is incredible. The first time I went I had the crab and shrimp and, though I'm ashamed to admit it, I've had it every subsequent time because it was just that good. There are some great values on the winelist and the restaurant are every accomodating of large groups. The private, tented tables are romantic but make sure you know your date well before bringing him or her here!
