It would of been nice to have a bar like in the pictures, but was closed . You get booked in on the pavement? No reception, no dining, no staff. This is NOT a hotel, it's a room with an aged bathroom, clean I must add. The kettle is on a base and did not stop boiling, you have to pick it up and off, but was far too hot to do so had to unplug it. The room was small , big bed ,not much space. Me and my sister stayed here over the weekend- we travelled from Glasgow on the Thursday night and arrived in Shrewsbury at 7am on the Friday- at half 11 we called to try our luck and see if we could check in as check In was 3pm and we where exhausted, got told to call back at 2pm but within 10 minutes of hanging the phone up we was called to say our room was ready, greeted with Amanda at the front door and shown to our room! I gave a 5 star , just to make aware ... this is NOT a Hotel!!!! .. we were checked in after a phone call .. on the street .. no reception?.. a musty smell .. several banging doors .. a bed an awful shower room .. kettle ..next to electric plugs .. does not stop . Very hot , dangerous .. other guests very noisy.. definitely would not stay here again .. sorry ..
