Just had an impromptu stop at this place. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Thank you so much.
We shared a lunchtime starters platter 3 for price of 2 weekday deal and it was very nice. Salt n Pepper squid and Thai fishcakes were particularly good, fresh and zingy. All prepared in house we were told. Nice old pub building too if if just want a drink.
Went for a birthday meal with my brother who is a particular about the food he eats. He noticed the chalk board outside the pub and decided he'd like to have his lunch there. He had a Thai green curry and rice. I had stir fried beef with ginger and spring onions with rice. Both meals were enough to fill us up and my brother decided he'd like to go back and try more dishes from the menu. A recommendation in itself.
