Scary, big, and one of a kind hotel and I love that place a lot!!! I've been there when I was little!! Heard a little girl ghost crying, and I heard voices and foot steps!!! I want to go back there some day and stay in the most haunted ROOM to c more ghosts!!!
Did the Stanley Tour and Aiden, our tour guide was fantastic!! He was very knowledgable and could tell he enjoyed doing the tour and answering people's questions. Thanks Aiden!!
I have never been there personally but I am literally DYING to go there. From everything that I have heard, I wish there was a way I could get there. I live all the way in N.Y.
Gotta say, the food has taken a serious downturn. Very sad from what it was when I was working for Rich.
I'd give this five stars if I'd gotten to see a ghost! The place is totally creepy (in a good way). I love our room - it's like stepping back in time. My favorite part has been grabbing a cup of coffee at Steamers coffee shop, then sitting either in front of the lobby fire place or enjoying the cold mountain air on the front porch. All the other guests are super friendly. I think the ghost hunting is sort of a bonding experience. :)
Incredible! A beautifully preserved historical relic!! Delicious food and a phenomenal tour from Lady J:) Lucy will never forget it!!! The only reason for 4 stars is the lack of a hot shower. All else was perfection !!!

I have a new horror story for the Stanley. We went there for our 30th anniversary. I paid in advance for roses, which were not in the room when we arrived. Apparently they were delivered to a different room. After spending $100 on two steaks, one glass of wine and a beer (only the steak, the potato is $6 extra) we retired to our room at around 10:00 p.m. anticipating a soak in the large jacuzzi tub. My husband and I had our wedding here! It was beautiful and they did a great job handling such a huge wedding for them! Can't wait to go back on our anniversary!
